Teruo On The Coast

A dope new fitted cap might not pay your parking meter, but it looks damn good at the beach. Saul Good, the dopest blogger on the Teruo team, took the green on black for a spin before a surf in mother ocean. Stay connected to your planet, rock Teruo.

Killa Karlifornia

Teruo Artistry's Blog Boss Prophet ran up on the scene of Karli aka Karli from the block (KIIS FM) aka Karli of MTV 3's hit show Karlifornia to show some love last week. This show aimed at showing young teens how to empower them selves in life or career surrounding the entertainment field. This episode was close to home in that they brought in kids from my favorite non-profit A PLACE CALLED HOME in South Central. These kids got a chance to attend and participate in an on air workshop on how to be a talk show host. Karli walked through what its like to be on camera, lighting , cue's and all the elements necessary to be your best on camera. For some of these kids it was their only shot at getting that career deciding glimpse into what it is to be in the entertainment industry. Shout out to my home girl Karli for always creating in true Teruo style. Shout out to JP for the behind the scenes access.

Teruo at the Lustgarten Foundation Walk For Pancreatic Cancer Research

Teruo Artistry is all about supporting the community around us. When The Lustgarten Foundation announced the first annual Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research in Santa Monica, CA this year. I decided to volunteer and walk in memory of my Uncle Ed, who fell victim to the disease at the young age of 48. Uncle Ed was my man, always the coolest cat in the building, making the ladies laugh and hanging with the dudes in one smooth motion. R.I.P. Uncle Ed and here's $2,600.00 I raised towards finding the cure.

Everyone should be volunteering with hours and fundraising towards whatever cause means something to you. Get out and give back! Always Creating...By and dreams necessary. One People, One Love, One Earth.

Got Soul?

Newcomer soul singer Duffy doing something nasty. The album clips on her myspace have me wondering if predictable songwriting/production will cause her to be lost in the crowd, but something about this one live in the studio with just a guitar (well played at that)...
