Mosh-Proph-tatoes

Proph officially got his Rage Against The Machine on rocking custom TTW hand painted joints this Saturday. It was for a Rock/Rap mashup project Im working on with Forrest and his band called "Omission"( www.myspace.com/omissionmusic ). We blazed the roof on this little dive bar called Safari Sams on the anti-Hollywood side of Sunset. Its a little dark stain in a giant parking lot for the biggest 99cent store I have ever seen.lol It was dope though cuz I could run in to the 99cent joint and grab some Grape Fanta for my gorilla skin congiac mixer aka my pre show Thizz Face maker. We opened up for this Band called "Whiskey Circus" that has shown us mad love on the shows and they always tear the house down. Omission had a full set where we fused 2 new joints that I co-wrote with the lead singer Forrest. The bands smooth lyrics and tight musicianship produced some of the most sonicly pleasing sounds I have heard on the LA underground. Not to blow my own whistle but when we rocked the songs I worked on them with the crowd got a taste of the future sound ya dig.lol All in all we flame broiled it...If you were there you saw if not you need to step your show attendance up. Stay tuned for more Proph-Mash-Up joints.

Grammy Bidness

Proph-Diesel dipped in Teruo sauce was in full effect at the before and after parties of the freshest night in Entertainment. Me and J.P-Eazy did the damn thing at the Timberland/Verizon pre-party at the Avalon in Hollywood. Off the chains would be an understatement for a Baydestrian that was caught off guard by the scale of this event. The spot was Star studded like a 100kt pinky ring.

In the bldg we saw Chamilionare,Luda,Kim Kardashian,Timbo,One Republic, Flo-Ryda, JT and almost every industry exec in the game. Flo Ryda killed it and so did Paramore then One Republic shut the whole thing down. I was running on fumes so we called it an early night 1:30am.lol

If you thought the pre Grammy events were bannanaz the post Grammy parties were coconutz. The WB party was at a huge gothic church downtown LA. It was filled with neon pendant light seagulls and glowing electrified cloud sculptures. The scene was more on the square side than a hip music party. I did see Haily from Paramore and Kid Rock with some model BZ. Mostly WB biz heads and guests though.

Then we dipped to the SMG part that was in Beverly Hills at the BH hotel. I didn't know what to expect being the last joint was so medium. I knew right away that this was the place to be as the paparazzi damn near blocked the entrance to the hotel. Making our way on to the red carpet and flashing thizz faces at the photographers as they wonder who I am but still snap off shots just in case they are in the pressence of the next Boss in the game. We get to the check in spot and I spotted T-Pain in a mad wild top hat from a Doctor Sues book...Dude is crazy. Thats when I turned to my left and saw Jay-Z(WTF) standing next to me who then said "what up son" I was like damn what up Hov. Thats when I knew this was the party to end all parties that night. I then saw Beyonce fallowing the direction of J with two or so security juggernauts.

Dipped in Teruo custom gear from head to toe I walked into the main room revealing famous prints of photos taken of Sony Artists and affiliates. Snacthing a goblet of champeign as we enter the room I saw peeps like Chris Brown, Big Boi, 3 Six, Nas, Kellis, Pharell and some all time greats like Aretha and Chakakon. For the rest of the night I networked and people watched as we ate tri-tip and sushi rolls till ya boy was stuffed and tuckered ya dig. To cap of the night as Im waiting to get the car from the valet a big body Benz pulls up and who but Yoko Ono steps out. It was deff a night filled with up coming stars and living legends. A close friend then whispered next year you will be the star in someones blog and at the Grammy's.....Trojan Horse you BZ!

The Takeover Agenda!

Teruo Artistry took a Ninja Foot Clan approach at the Agenda trade show this month in San Diego. Ya boy P-Lo the Hooligan organized a small group of insurgents to find out information that we would need for our possible Fall entry. The show was fresh, it had a way more underground appeal than it's over the top more cooperate counterpart ASR. All the true players from Crooks & Castles to Artful Dodger were in the building showing off their latest collection. I made sure the Teruo team got our fare share of the open bar before tearing up club Belo in the Gas lamp District of San Diego. Team Teruo votes "NO" on the super budget Occidental Hotel for lodging downtown. Our travel squad booked a dorm room for $90. I think it was where they use to keep the cleaning equipment because it had no bathroom and it was about 8' x 8'. Shout out to Murph and his travel agent Tom for that hook up.lol Stay tuned for some video from the show.
